Bruinhub

We were approached by cityLAB - a research studio at UCLA researching contemporary urban challenges  - to document the construction and deployment of the Bruinhub through a short film.

The Bruinhub is a prototype for a modular capsule designed to be a safe space of rest and community for commuter students at UCLA. The project was derived in response to the long and extreme commutes faced by students attending UCLA and those experiencing housing insecurity. The film follows the construction of the first of these modules at Vision Scenery in LA, to the module’s first deployment in UCLA’s John Wooden Center.
